 How to find oneself among this multitude of pictorial expressions in contemporary art ?
How to be sure not to follow the wrong path ?...
For me, it is an endless, solitary, imperious search in which I only trust some sort of instinct, which I endeavour to follow, sometimes, being subjected to the pangs of doubt.
Then why I did become this kind of slave agreeing to and passionated by a subject which is, altogether, more constraining than rewarding.
It is because, ultimately, it remains the only lasting passion, powerful and captivating enough, to put me in this state so close to happiness, where I seem not to be missing anything anymore. I like dreams, but first and formost life whose mystery fascinates me, I would like to be able one day to express were it only a tiny part of it !... I took part in some exhibitions, challenging each time my unvarying shyness.
I worked for various publishers the main ones being : Hatier, Flammarion, Fleurus, Messidor, Gallimard, Bayard, Rouge et Or, Rageot, Magnard, Dargaud. I also worked for EDF, in particular for "Vigilance" and several other services. For a veterinary surgeons’ magazine I illustrated : "Veterinary Surgeons’ dispatch". I worked also on behalf of various companies like Thomson, Millupa etc... Finally I painted realistic portraits, according to photographs, for private individuals.
